About Us

If you can draw it, we can print it.

3DBits offers 3D modelling and rapid prototyping services for various industries. We use Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3d printing technology to deliver unique prototypes and products tailored to customer requirements, in the shortest possible times.

The idea behind 3Dbits was simple. People are always looking for something different and unique. 3Dbits can offer that by turning your ideas into 3D reality.

Rapid prototyping has been widely used across various industries for small scale production runs and generally, “1off items”. This technology allows for fast turnover times and is able to print complex models that cannot be achieved by traditional manufacturing processes such as extrusion moulding, casting, etc.

How does it work?

The FDM printer uses a cord of solid material called filament. This cord is guided from a roll attached to the printer, to a heated nozzle that melts the material. After the material is melted it is extruded on a pre-set path that was previously created by a specific software. As the filament is extruded layer by layer it cools down and solidifies creating the foundation for the next layer up to the end.

This 3D printing technology has as advantages high accuracy of products, can produce functional parts and all objects printed are highly durable and with great stability. Also due to large capacity the throughput times are short and it uses water-soluble support structure which reduces the post-processing time.

FDM 3D printing is an affordable technology, using a wide range of durable plastic-based materials with a wide range of applications, such as manufacturing functional end products with set electronics and mechanical part, like drones or steady cams.
